Weather permitting, we will journey through the our lovely backyard woods out into the sand dunes and open beach alongside Knik River. We will continue closer to Knik Glacier, periodically crossing through some glacial waters, taking in the gorgeous views of our amazing mountains and surrounding scenery. To top it off before heading back, we will take a break in the middle of this vast landscape to enjoy the scenery & possible lakes, moose, and other wildlife nearby.

Experience a real taste of some of Alaska's most peaceful beauty with a panoramic view of the mountains while the salmon swim underneath you in plane sight, and the ducks and eagles fly overhead, and maybe even find a moose standing in the water eating weeds off of the bottom.

When winter arrives with snow, that's when trail riding can be at its best. There is nothing more exhilarating than a ride through fresh powdery snow! We find that all ages love our horse-drawn sleigh rides through the woods and over the frozen creek"¦and end the ride with warm-up beverages (hot chocolate, etc..) in the cabin or at the fire-pit.
