Hello! Welcome to American Canoe Adventures! I'm John Hannum. That's me on the right. My dad, Wendell Hannum, (pictured on the left) founded American Canoe Adventures in 1995 in order to offer affordable canoe and kayak trips on the Suwannee River along with shuttle services. In 2009, he handed down the business to me and my wife, Tricia. We are here to help make your experience on the river as enjoyable as possible.

We offer shuttle services all along the Suwannee River from the Okefenokee Swamp to the Gulf of Mexico in the town of Suwanee. We rent and sell canoes and kayaks. Your rental includes paddles and life vests. We are open 5 days a week 9am to 6pm Thurs - Monday. (Closed Tuesday and Wednesday)
