Oklahoma boasts some tremendous whitetail deer due to the Red River Corridor that separates Oklahoma and Texas. Superior genetics mixed with crop fields, creek bottom and mesquite flats provide great cover to grow trophy size white tail. Our Oklahoma deer rifle season begins the third Saturday of November and runs until the first Sunday of December. The season is short but allows the hunter to hunt during the rut.
