Its salt pans, sand dunes, and cracked earth textures are a feast for the eyes and the camera. Join this multi-day workshop to explore, shoot, and enjoy this fascinating and beautiful desert landscape. This multi-day Death Valley photography workshop will help photographers create memorable photos of the fascinating and beautiful features of Death Valley National Park. For beginners, this workshop focuses on understanding your camera's settings in order to expand your knowledge and break into more creative realms. For those more comfortable with their gear, we will place a strong emphasis on producing striking and powerful compositions, as well as telling a story with your photos. Depending on conditions, the workshop will introduce participants to aspects of night photography and light-painting.

Olympic National Park Photography Workshop
Olympic National Park offers up a multitude of beautiful landscapes indicative of the Pacific Northwest. During this photography workshop, we may visit the Hoh Rain Forest and its Hall of Mosses as well as the forests found in the Quinault region of the park. We will also photograph the rugged coastline and its awe-inspiring sea stacks which can be found at First, Second, and Third Beaches. Other coastal locations include Ruby and Rialto beaches. Around Lake Crescent, we will explore the inner forested areas in search of cascades and waterfalls. This photography workshop will take advantage of the best the northwest has to offer on Washington's Olympic Peninsula.

Mount Rainier Photography Workshop
Mount Rainier National Park offers up a true mountain landscape paradise. Literally, we will visit Paradise! Summer time is wildflower season, and we will split time between the Paradise and Sunrise sides of the mountain in hopes of catching the narrow window for peak bloom. We will also take advantage of the dark night skies as the milky way rises over Mount Rainier. The Mount Rainier Photo Workshop will visit some of the park's beautiful waterfalls such as Narada, Christine, and Myrtle Falls as well as Reflection and Tipsoo Lake.
