Float fishing is a great way to spend the day on the water and is definitely the most fun! Experience fly fishing from a whole new perspective. It can be very fast paced at times but provides more opportunities to catch fish by covering more ground and seeing more water than a wade trip. With your guide rowing the boat and instructing you where and how to fish, you will definitely be spoiled after this trip. You will be required to have your own mode of transportation to meet at the boat ramp.

A walk wade trip is exactly like it sounds, we will walk and wade the river or creek we are fishing for the day. Plan on walking through water and on uneven ground. Walk wade fishing is a great introduction to fly fishing with a more hands on approach. We will discuss basic techniques of fly fishing, reading water, rigging, bug life and Trout habitat with conservation in mind. We will be fishing public water surrounding the Gunnison area.
