Guided Waterfowl Shoots Our waterfowl hunting properties are in the heart of the duck hunting country, the northern Sacramento Valley! Our ability to maintain guide blinds in strategic locations throughout the Sutter Basin, Richvale, and Colusa Areas gives us the advantage to track hot spots making sure our clients are given the greatest opportunity to have a successful hunt. Thousands upon thousands of migrating waterfowl migrate through our properties each season. The abundance of flooded grain fields in our hunting inventory and our natural marsh habitats each provide the ideal setting for a fantastic hunt. Whether you are hunting ducks on our wetland properties or geese in our dry rice fields, your hunt is sure to be a memorable outing from start to finish.

Located just 35 miles north of Sacramento, we offer daily in-season river fishing trips for Sturgeon, Striped Bass, and King Salmon on the Sacramento River. Guests will fish from a fully equipped and roomy 22"² Fish-Rite River Barge allowing passengers to relax in the luxury of comfortable bucket-type seats with backrests and plenty of legroom.

Our guided turkey hunts are conducted on private ranches throughout the Northern Sacramento Valley, primarily in Colusa County. Guided Turkey Hunts are scheduled as one day hunts, seven days a week during the Spring and Fall California turkey seasons. Junior Hunt Weekends are also available. All hunts are fully guided by a knowledgeable caller using the best decoy strategies and calling techniques to ensure the greatest opportunity of hunting success.

Our Annual Opening Day Dove Shoot is eagerly awaited by our clientele each year. Taking place along the edges of the Sacramento River and surrounding farm fields near Colusa, California, this hunt provides plenty of shooting action. Our opening day shoot is limited to the first 20 participants once reservations open towards the end of July. The rolling hills and dense brush terrain of Cortina Ranch makes for some excellent predator hunting opportunities. Turkeys, deer, pheasant, quail, and rodents of all kinds can be found on our Cortina Ranch Property, therefore the food source and cover is endless for coyotes, and raccoons. Hunting these predators has become an essential tool to a healthy balance for all wildlife that call the ranch home. Our guided predator hunts are a good mixture of early evening or early morning calling and are typically customized to each of our guests preferences. Our 'Run and Gun' calling style keeps the action fast, exciting and entertaining and your typical shot is roughly 50 yards. California Hunting License is required.

Hog hunting is not the main draw of our business, but it does keep us entertained during the months that we are not doing much fishing and when it's not waterfowl season, of course. Our guided hog hunts are entirely fair chase, spot and stalk type hunts and we strive to ensure that your hunt is not only successful but, more importantly, memorable! There are an abundance of Russian influenced hogs on the ranches that we hunt, ranging in size from meat pigs to true trophy hogs, weighing between 200-400lbs. with nice cutters.
