North Shore Coastal Wildlife Hike
Hiking this pristine stretch of undeveloped coastline will give you a sense of what ancient Kauaʻi might have felt like, long before tourists left their footprints in the sand. It is in this natural setting that we will have a good chance of seeing the endangered Hawaiian monk seal.

Kauaʻi Highlights Tour
This five-hour driving tour of Waimea Canyon and KÅkeÊ»e State Parks will stop at all of the best official and "unofficial" overlooks of vibrant Waimea Canyon and the NÄ Pali Coast. Note: This is NOT a hiking tour - due to less time being allotted, we will only offer a couple of options for very short hikes, .25 - .5 miles RT each, on relatively even terrain. This will allow you to leisurely enjoy the exquisite backdrops that make visiting these areas a must for anyone looking to enjoy KauaÊ»i's natural beauty.

South Shore Coastal Hike to Sea Cliffs
Smell the salt air as crashing waves explode below you. The compacting of air within the cliffs creates a special surprise. Our KauaÊ»i hike will take us to a promontory, where we will see impressive views of HÄÊ»upu Mountain, Kawelikoa Point, and deep into the Kaua'i Channel in the direction of OÊ»ahu (which you can see at 108 miles away on extremely clear days).

Kuilau Ridge Trail to Mt Waiʻaleʻale Viewpoint Hike
The word kuilau (koo-E-lau) means "to string together leaves or grass." Plant fibers were used for everything from thatching roofs (pili grass huts) to making large sails for ocean voyaging canoes (from the hala [tree] leaf), so one might imagine that this lush trail originally got its name from native Hawaiians gathering and utilizing natural resources from the area.

Nounou Mountain, aka "Sleeping Giant," is located on the East Side of Kaua'i, looming above the Wailua River - just inland from where Ancient Kauaian Ali'i (Hawaiian royalty) first chose to settle.
