PELICAN HARBOR SEABIRD STATION

Pelican Harbor Seabird Station was founded in 1980 for the purpose of caring for injured brown pelicans and has grown into an internationally recognized center for seabird rehabilitation. The Seabird Station accepts all native birds, mammals, and reptiles. Injured wildlife can be dropped off 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We work closely with Federal, State, and local enforcement officials like the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department, and Ocean Rescue. A special thanks also to Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces for being a valued partner and providing our location within Pelican Harbor Marina.
