This remote part of southwestern New Mexico became the first designated wilderness in the U.S. The Gila lies in what is known as a transition zone, between desert and alpine forest. This make the Gila unique, offering a wide variety of life forms and magnificent scenery. We love the Gila and have made a livelihood of revealing its beauty to visitors. Gila Hot Springs Ranch has been family owned and operated since 1940 and even today, we continue to share the secrets of this magnificent land. We offer many options that will allow you to explore the Gila Wilderness and we are committed to making sure that you have an unforgettable experience.
