Willow Oak is located in a very unique place. Where else can you be less than a one hour drive from a place that has produced a large mouth bass over 15 pounds (Cedar Creek Reservoir), a small mouth bass over 10 pounds (Wilson Lake), and a spotted bass just one ounce shy of 9 pounds (Smith Lake)? Fishing at Willow Oak Fish on Lauren Bailee Reservoir. The lake was developed with attention to detail from underwater rock piles, deep channels, flooded willow bushes, and all the correct habitat to build a trophy bass lake. The lake is home to giant large mouth and small mouth bass. There are also several small ponds on the property that are stocked and managed for recreational fishing.

The quail hunting experience at Willow Oak Lodge is unlike any other. After coffee and breakfast with breath-taking views at the lodge, enjoy a day of hunting, followed by an excellent meal and time around a fire with friends new and old. The staff at Willow Oak maintains quality forage for turkey, quail, and dove, by planting milo, sorghum, millet, and chufa.

For the past 15 years, the property at Willow Oak has been transformed into some of the best turkey woods in the country. With strategic clearing of fields with paths between, along with the planting of chufa, corn, millet, sorghum, and milo, the turkey population has exploded in the last decade. Some mornings, the toughest decision is picking which direction to go, as the woods light up in every direction.

There are several properties available for free-range hunting outside of the preserve. These areas are well-managed and have excellent native deer. When hunting a free-range area, there is no upcharge for trophy-sized deer, and only one buck can be taken.

At Willow Oak, it is our focus to ensure every guest has the hunt of a lifetime. All hunting guests will have one-on-one guide service to help evaluate and manage the hunt. Price will be determined based on the score of the deer.
